Terms and conditions for participating in Unreal Nova Academy programs.

By enrolling in, accessing, or participating in any Unreal Nova Academy program, you (the "Student" or parent/guardian on behalf of a minor) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not enroll or participate in our programs.

For students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms on behalf of the student.

Pilot Phase Status

Our programs are currently offered during a pilot phase. This means:

  • Programs are provided "as is" and subject to ongoing improvement
  • Curriculum, schedules, and teaching methods may be adjusted based on feedback
  • We actively incorporate student and parent feedback to enhance the learning experience
  • Technical issues may occasionally occur, and we work promptly to resolve them

Program Formats

We offer three program formats:

  • Online Classes: Live, interactive sessions via video conferencing
  • In-Person (Tbilisi): Classes at our Tbilisi campus
  • School Partnerships: On-premise programs at partner educational institutions

Schedule & Attendance

  • Class schedules are communicated at the time of enrollment
  • We reserve the right to reschedule classes due to instructor availability or technical issues
  • Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions
  • Missed sessions may not be eligible for make-up classes depending on program format

✍️Enrollment & Eligibility

Age Requirements

  • Programs are designed for students aged 13 and older
  • Students under 13 require special approval and parental supervision arrangements
  • Parent/guardian consent is required for all students under 18

Technical Requirements

For online programs, students must have:

  • A computer meeting minimum specifications (provided upon enrollment)
  • Stable internet connection
  • Required software (Unreal Engine, communication tools)
  • A quiet learning environment

Enrollment Process

  • Complete the application form with accurate information
  • Review and accept these Terms of Service
  • Complete payment (if applicable)
  • Attend orientation session (if scheduled)

🎨Intellectual Property Rights

Student Ownership

Students retain full ownership of all original creative works, projects, and intellectual property they create during our programs. This includes:

  • Game projects and prototypes
  • 3D models, textures, and assets
  • Code and blueprints
  • Original designs and concepts

Academy's Limited Use Rights

Students grant Unreal Nova Academy permission to:

  • Reference anonymized screenshots or videos of student work for promotional purposes (with explicit consent)
  • Showcase student projects in portfolios or marketing materials (with student/parent approval)
  • Use aggregated, anonymized data about student progress for program improvement

We will always request permission before using any identifiable student work publicly.

Third-Party Content

  • Students must respect intellectual property rights of others
  • Use only properly licensed assets, plugins, and resources
  • Provide appropriate attribution when using third-party work
  • Unreal Engine content is subject to Epic Games' terms and conditions

🀝Student Conduct Requirements

All students must adhere to our Code of Conduct. Key requirements include:

  • Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
  • Provide constructive feedback; no harassment or hate speech
  • Stay focused on educational activities during sessions
  • No sharing of inappropriate content
  • Respect privacyβ€”do not share other students' personal information
  • Follow all safety guidelines and platform rules

⚠️ Violations & Consequences

Serious violations of conduct policies may result in:

  • Warning and review of expectations
  • Temporary suspension from programs
  • Permanent removal without refund (severe cases)
  • Reporting to authorities (if legally required)

Payment Terms

  • Program fees are communicated at the time of enrollment
  • Payment is required before program start date
  • We accept various payment methods (details provided during enrollment)
  • Prices are subject to change but locked in at enrollment

Refund Policy

  • Before program starts: Full refund minus processing fees (if any)
  • Within first week: Partial refund based on sessions attended
  • After first week: No refunds, but may transfer to future programs
  • Academy-initiated cancellation: Full refund provided

Scholarships & Discounts

We offer need-based scholarships and early enrollment discounts. Contact us to discuss financial assistance options.


βš–οΈLimitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Programs are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or career results
  • We are not liable for technical issues beyond our control (internet outages, software bugs)
  • We are not responsible for loss of student work (students should maintain backups)
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the program

Exception: Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Student Withdrawal

Students may withdraw from programs at any time by providing written notice. Refunds (if any) will be processed according to our refund policy.

Academy Termination Rights

We reserve the right to terminate enrollment if:

  • Student violates these Terms of Service or Code of Conduct
  • Payment is not received
  • Student poses a safety risk to themselves or others
  • Program is discontinued (full refund provided)

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Access to program materials and platforms is revoked
  • Students retain ownership of their work created before termination
  • Confidentiality and intellectual property provisions remain in effect

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Significant changes will be communicated via email to enrolled students/parents
  • Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms
  • Students may withdraw if they do not agree to modified terms
